Our initial support was just the beginning

In 2022, we opened the Help Ukraine aid centre and shop. Through our work, more than 40,000 people forced to leave Ukraine have received support.

Fewer people are asking for help today, but around 30,000 refugees still live in Latvia. That is why we created a community for young people and adults: we help them learn Latvian, settle into life here and navigate current legal and accounting matters.

We are now raising funds to pay specialists so that participants can receive help free of charge:

• €100 — a psychologist for a support group: a chance to talk about difficult experiences and feelings, and receive professional support;
• €50 — a Latvian language teacher: language practice for everyday communication, study and work;
• €85 — legal consultations: help with paperwork and legal matters related to life in Latvia;
• €100 — emergency assistance: help with food, basic necessities and housing for someone facing a difficult life situation.

You can leave home in a single day. It can take years to find your feet again. Help us stay by their side.
