Big things depend on simple necessities

It’s easy to take water, a clean kitchen, toilet paper and hygiene products for granted. But Young Folks needs around €600 every month just to cover basic everyday needs:

• €50 — pads and tampons;
• €50 — toilet paper and cleaning products;
• €100 — stationery, paper and printer cartridge refills;
• €100 — tea, coffee, water and biscuits;
• €300 — cleaning our space.

These expenses don’t make for striking photos, but without them, a space used by hundreds of people simply couldn’t function.
